For lovers of classical music, do not miss the"Baroque Festival and ... Partenope & Europe" from the 10th of May to the 14 of June 2015 will be the setting for an extraordinary concert season at the churches of Naples and the Mediterranean Theatre .
In particular, the extensive program of events of the XIII edition of the music festival has as a novelty a New Orchestra Scarlatti divided into four specific groups.
On the occasion of his 22nd birthday in fact, the famous orchestra, in addition to the famous classical training, after numerous hearings has been divided into a Scarlatti Orchestra Junior (11-18 years) to 60 members, in a 'Orchestra Scarlatti Young (18-28 years ) of 24 elements and a Scarlatti Tuttiorchestra (aged 18 years and older) of 16 musicians.
The new formations will perform along with Scarlatti "mother" next May 24, 2015 at the Teatro Mediterraneo with a lineup full of emotions starting from the works of Handel and ranging up to the masterpieces of Beethoven.
The next concerts, from time to time, will be held by each orchestra "daughter" in suggestive performances with the music of the greatest artists of classical music as, among others, Rossini, Mozart, Albinoni, Strauss, Fauré, and many others, in the light of the most beautiful and characteristic area of Naples.
